Common 'black and white' member of Crow family with long glossy dark green tail. White belly and shoulder patch breaks otherwise dark metallic plumage, which depending on how it catches the light can appear green or blue. Resident throughout Britain and Europe, found in areas of scattered trees, such as farmland, woods, grassland and even urban environments.
