Blue Tit Parus caeruleus Size: 10-12cm UK Status: very common resident breader / fairly common winter visitor | Small characterful tit with blue wings and greenish back. Yellow breast has narrow dark grey dividing line, head white with dark blue eyestripe and collar band. Capped with blue crown. Juvenile similar, with yellowish head and less distinct markings. Common all year throughout Britain in gardens, parks and woods. Enjoys bird tables and nut feeders. | |
