Sedge Warbler Acrocephalus schoenobaenus Size: 12-13cm UK Status: common migrant breader / passage visitor | Upperparts mainly brown with dark streaks, with unstreaked orange-brown rump. Underparts pale, more orangy-buff on flanks. Noticeable pale supercilium which contrasts with dark streaky cap and eyestripe. Mainly inhabits densely vegetated areas on water egdes (rivers, lakes etc). Summer visitor to Britain and most of Europe. | |
